Electrician in New Farnley – GFS Electrical Services Ltd

Trusted and professional electrical services for homes and businesses in New Farnley, Leeds

Welcome to New Farnley — A Friendly West Leeds Village

New Farnley is a peaceful village in West Leeds, just a few miles from the city centre. With its mix of stone cottages, 20th-century houses, and new-build developments, it’s popular with families and professionals who want easy access to Leeds while enjoying a quieter, community feel.

The village shares its heritage with nearby Farnley, which has roots dating back to medieval times. New Farnley itself developed more prominently in the 19th century alongside local industry, particularly the Farnley Iron Works and nearby coal mining. Today, it's a close-knit community with amenities including schools, sports clubs, and access to green spaces like Post Hill and Farnley Hall Park.

At GFS Electrical Services Ltd, I’ve worked on properties across New Farnley for years. Whether it’s a simple fix, a full rewire, or safety checks for a rental property — you’ll always get honest advice, safe work, and friendly service from someone who knows the area and its homes.
